Annual General Meeting
Each year IBSIG holds its Annual General Meeting. It is FREE to members in good standing, and guests who wish to become members. IBSIG members, old and new, are invited to join in a time of learning, knowledge exchange, and networking. The AGM is also an opportunity for members to spend some time reflecting on IBSIG’s successes accomplished within the last year. The first part of the meeting is allocated to IBSIG business/elections. Then there is a time of learning. The speakers are always “on topic” with important information for RPNs running an independent practice. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
2018 AGM – August 11, 2018
“EntrepreNURSEshipR Navigating Your Success” is being held August 11, 2018 in Sudbury.
Calling all RPNs in Independent Business in Ontario’s beautiful north and beyond! Come join IBSIG members on August 11, 2018 for a FREE education and networking session. Get to know IBSIG and ‘connect with your peers’. New this year… our AGM will be held separately from RPNAO’s fall event.
This year, we are shining a spotlight on our members in the North and holding our annual meeting in beautiful Sudbury, Ontario to accommodate our northern Ontario members who work hard in their business and rarely get an opportunity to attend education sessions that are held in east, central and south west ontario. BUT… we hope that with this advanced notice, IBSIG members near and far will consider building this event into their summer schedules, and meet our EntrepreNURSES who practice in the vicinities of Sudbury, North Bay, Timmins, Elliot Lake, Sault Ste. Marie and beyond.
The Business portion of the meeting is free to all IBSIG members. The Education Session is free to all members and guests. It is a GREAT time to meet one another in person, and enjoy an exchange of knowledge that is geared to our goal “assisting Ontario’s RPNs build a profitable business”.
HELP spread the word. Invite your RPN contacts who run an independent business (or are thinking of starting a business) so they can learn more about our group.
“EntrepreNURSEship®: Growing Community Roots and Connecting with Peers” is about building relationships with other EntrepreNURSES and other professionals in your community. Building relationships can help you:
- raise awareness about your nursing-based business with the goal of expanding your client base,
- build knowledge exchange opportunities to share business ideas, experiences, and “tips and tricks” with one another,
- find new supports for your business needs, such as marketing, printing, bookkeeping, insurance, etc.
A huge THANK YOU to Pioneer Manor Long-Term Care Home for allowing us to use their meeting room and equipment. We are grateful for access to a beautiful room, conveniently located in Sudbury, with lunch catering options.
